This term, Chapeltown Academy is proud to announce the launch of its dynamic new enrichment programme. Designed to broaden students’ horizons and foster personal growth, the programme offers a wide array of activities that cater to diverse interests and skill sets. From the challenging Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE) to the creative art of Origami, students have the opportunity to explore a variety of engaging pursuits.
Some of the key highlights include Badminton, Debate Club, the National Cipher Challenge, which sharpens code-breaking skills, and “Community in Action,” a programme that encourages students to get involved in meaningful volunteer work.
Already, our DofE participants have begun tracking their volunteering and skill commitments, and are enthusiastically preparing for their first expedition. We look forward to seeing all of our students grow, develop new skills, and form lasting friendships through their enrichment activities this term.
