What Will You Study and How is it Assessed?
In the first year, you will cover sociological theory, Education, and Families and Households. The second year focuses on research methods, Mass Media, and Crime and Deviance. Assessment is through three 2-hour exams at the end of the second year, with no coursework.

Entry Requirements
The Academy’s general entry criteria of a minimum of five 4s at GCSE apply. A minimum of 5 in English Language is needed to study Sociology at A Level.
